Last night I was flipping through my bible. I opened to  1 Chronicles and started to read. It's crazy how a few little words can make you feel so happy and hopeful. There is no specific reason I can really say, But I think God just really wanted me to read these verses, and share them with you guys.

1 Chronicles 28:9-10 ~
And you, my son Solomon,acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a temple as a sanctuary. Be strong and do the work.

This verse made me think about serving God with wholehearted devotion, and how hard that is for us in our everyday life. It is something we should be striving for. I pray that this trip will help me do this more in my everyday life. Also if we seek God we will surely find him, God promises that those who seek will always find. I think that is amazing.

1 Chronicles 28:20~
David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afriad or discourages, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished."

David is telling Solomon to not get discouraged or afraid of doing Gods work because God will never leave him or forsake him. I was reminded of Gods love and protection, I need not be scared of sharing Gods word, or going to an un-familiar country.GODwill always be with me, he will carry me every step of the way. It is very comfprting to think about that, it gives me a new excitment to go! I can't wait!
